The Jackpot Halibut Derby offers great prizes in a variety of categories. A $10 ticket purchase enters you for the following prize winnings:

	Jackpot Prize for largest fish of the season - made up of $2.50 of every ticket sold
	$10,000 Released Fish Prize - awarded by a random drawing of all anglers releasing a fish weighing over 60 pounds monthly drawing of $1,000 and season long drawing of $5,000
	Monthly Prizes - First Place $1,000, Second Place $750, Third Place $500, Fourth Place $250 for largest fish caught each month
	41 Tagged Fish worth $1,000 each
	53 Tagged Fish worth $500 each
	6 Tagged Fish worth $10,000 each
	A monthly Lady Angler Prize of $500 for largest halibut caught by a female.
	Kids prizes: 12 years & under end of season drawing $500, $400, $300, $200, $150 and $100 just for buying a ticket.
	Captain's Prize - awarded to the captain of the winning fish. Based on the number of tickets sold.
	Value-added coupons provided with every derby ticket sold

This 347 lb. halibut brought Clayton McDowell of Eagle River, AK a jackpot prize of $48,675 in 2002. Charter boat captain was Glain Cook.
